Gentec-EO’s Pronto series is now even more versatile and flexible with its latest firmware update. To date, it has only been possible to operate portable measuring instruments via manual control. Now they will be used and controlled as permanently installed measuring setups via their USB interface. This will open up new areas of application, such as the cyclical power control of laser systems.
To date, many of these functions were only able to be performed with considerably more expensive measuring equipment, which often required expensive water cooling.
The update files can be downloaded quickly and easily from Gentec-EO’s website. Users can find the communication parameters and all available commands in the user manual of each respective Pronto device.
