“Electronics Fair: A Gathering Place for the Electronics Industry with a Focus on Inclusion and Sustainability

Electronics Fair Stockholm is returning on April 10-11, 2024, with high ambitions for sustainability and inclusion as Easyfairs Nordic takes a comprehensive approach to ESG. Easyfairs Group is a member of the Net Zero Carbon Events commitment to being carbon neutral by 2050 and halving its greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

In a few months, Easyfairs will open the doors to the innovative meeting place, Electronics Fair, at Kistamässan in Stockholm. In a time characterized by global challenges and an industry in constant pursuit of diversity and sustainable development, Electronics Fair takes responsibility.

Easyfairs and Electronics Fair take initiative to make a difference for the future. As Sweden’s leading electronics fair, it is important for Electronics Fair to take responsibility in promoting diversity, inclusion, and sustainable development. A pronounced ESG perspective is reflected in the fair’s exhibitors and their extensive efforts towards sustainability.

Electronics Fair also aims to create role models within the industry, particularly through its seminar program where they highlight inspiring speakers and leaders representing various backgrounds and perspectives.

A highlight of Electronics Fair is the presentation of the prestigious award “Female Role Model of the Year in the Electronics Industry” in collaboration with Phoenix Contact.

“Every year, Electronics Fair celebrates a female pioneer who has made a significant contribution to the electronics industry. By highlighting role models, Electronics Fair strives to inspire and increase diversity within the electronics sector. The Female Role Model of the Year becomes not only a symbol of success but also a driving force to promote inclusion in the industry,” says Project Manager Malin Kjällström.

As an additional gesture, Electronics Fair has chosen not to serve red meat during the event. This decision is based on an increased awareness of the environmental consequences of meat production, especially red meat. By reducing meat consumption at the fair, they decrease their carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Electronics Fair – Sweden’s most important meeting place for the electronics industry has been held since 2011. For two days, the electronics industry gathers, and in 2024, Electronics Fair Stockholm is back in a unique collaboration with the industry association Svensk Elektronik. The event is organized concurrently with the technology fair Advanced Engineering. Electronics Fair takes place on April 10-11, 2024, at Kistamässan in Stockholm.
